The New Yarnigans Blog

Improvised this doll over several days to submit to the Julia A. Purnell Museum in Snow Hill, MD for their annual Delmarva Needle Art Show.  The doll’s body is crocheted from Cascade 220 on a size G hook.  The clothes were knitted on size US 3 double pointed needles from various sock yarns, improvised from real patterns for children, with added fair isle accents.  More pictures over at flickr.
