I knit and crochet. I sew and cook. I make all types of goods and I write about it here.

It may seem early, but after 4 years of selling on etsy, I have finally gotten myself together enough to start getting my holiday gift listings up in a timely fashion. I have a few plans for patterns that are going to be my “production pieces” this Christmas season— meaning I’m going to keep making identical ones over and over as they sell— and so far, I have two of those repeat listings up. I’m super happy with the finished results on both of these. The first one is a for a natural wool bear that I previewed when I was making them for shops. Here’s the finished result— all washed and finished up and ready to give as a perfect gift for a lucky little (or big!) child:

The next toys are an idea that it took me a very, VERY large number of tests to work the kinks out in… but I think, finally, I am 100% happy with this finished product. I originally had the idea for “mini dolls” when I wanted to go to a craft show and be able to set out a basket that had a bunch of small, sturdy, toys in it that were not only appealing to adults, but practical for kids to play with. After several dozen tester mini dolls, I finally got my pattern to the point where I was happy enough to put them into repeat production. The first “three pack” that I’m offering up in my shop is for three pretty little ballet fairies.

More holiday listings are going to be going up pretty soon, so be sure to check the shop!
